If you start the uninstall from "Programs and Features" in Control Panel under Windows 7 Host or "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel under Windows XP Host it should offer as repair option and if it doesn't then just uninstall/reinstall it.
Will the unintstall/reinstall affect the programs, and such currently on my player?
Uninstalling/reinstalling VMware Player does not remove the Virtual Machines just like uninstalling almost every other application does not remove the work product thereof!
